Fashion? Say Wahhh? Alert the Fashion Police!

So I work at a furniture store right? And my boss, (an extremely ADHD, wonderful, AWESOME, funny man) tells me I need to dress a little nicer since he has decided to put me on the floor for sales and I'm over here like whoooooo more $$$ (I make commission.). I think to myself for a second... "Wait, What's wrong with my khaki pants and white blouse (Oh my god, I can't believe I just said blouse... I don't ever say that word.)... I don't do fashion. I know nothing about fashion. Seriously NOTHING. I admire those women that are all fashioned out (is that even a word? I just made it one.), make-up done, hair looking perfect. How do they do it? My point exactly, in less you are one of those people you don't and then that makes you one of me. Clueless is what we are. I'm perfectly content with my hair in a ponytail, jeans, and a t-shirt. I like getting dressed up but let's be real, it's a lot of freaking work! My son is 4 months old, he's very impatient and doesn't like to wait while Mom does her make-up and hair every morning and take 30 minutes to figure out an outfit. I get lucky if he isn't screaming by the time I get half way done with my hair, and I do my hair first. In all seriousness this is my new mission... Find relatively easy and cheap outfits, make-up and hair tutorials for us mom's who have a 4 month old screaming because he doesn't want momma to look beautiful today!

Our first hair tutorial!

I love this look, I got it from The Small Things Blog! Absolutely love her blog! If you're not following her, you should! She always has awesome tutorials. I put my own twist on this, always remember when you copy your hair to match a hair tutorial it's never going to turn out exactly how theirs did. This literally takes me about 2 minutes. Super easy! Try it! Click Here to go to the tutorial on The Small Things Blog!

Five On Friday;

{ONE}

Forgiveness
I learned this week, you can't be bitter forever. You have to take the initiative when you have the opportunity to make things right. You can't live with hate in your heart, it will destroy you. Forgiveness is hard thing. A very hard thing. There is a very old saying, "Forgive and Forget", but honestly I don't agree with this. There is such a thing as a bridge being burnt. When it's burnt you can forgive yes, and you may want to forget unfortunately you won't but maybe that's not such a bad thing. You do have to forgive though, and move on.

Ipsy Bag, WHOOOOOOOO!
I signed up for my first Ipsy Bag this week! $10 a month for 4-5 products (Make-up, Hair Products, Facial Products), typically sample sized but sometimes full sized and a different "Glam Bag" every month that the products come in. I researched the differences and rating between Ipsy & Birchbox and decided Ipsy was more my style. I'm on wait for one, but they will send me an email when I come off the waiting list! Whoooo. Super exciting. Seriously though!

BBQ Saturday
I'm so looking forward to spending time with my other half's family. LOADS. I've been ready for Saturday to be here all week. Not to mention my baby boy will get his first experience in a pool, hope he likes it(it's a kiddie pool), but the food.... My goodness. Can't wait. It's always nice to sit down, have a drink, and relax with family; just to sit down and have an adult conversation instead of talking baby to a little boy can be a very healthy thing. Haha.

Blogging at Work? Guilty
I'm so guilty of this y'all. I think my boss knows I'm not really doing anything productive, but doesn't care. Ha. I have a pretty laid back job though. I don't mind. I love it!

Quote of the Week

In till next Friday y'all, Tessa.

52 Weeks Of Blogging With A Purpose: Week 5

Week 5: If I Were To Win The Lottery
1- Pay off our debt, and my family's debt. Oh wouldn't that be nice huh? We have so many bills it's outrageous. House, Truck, Car, Credit Card... and our monthly bills on top of that... Whooooo talk about overwhelming.
2- Build Our Dream Home With lots of land for Gunner to run and play and have some horses. Even his own baseball field! A house with a wrap around porch, two-stories, and pinterest would be my best friend. & Some extra land somewhere else to invest.

3- I wouldn't quit my job, but I would invest into my photography business and jump head first in. My dream is owning my own photography business and wedding/event planning business. I could make my dream come true!
4- Buy us a big family truck.

5- Put aside a big chunk for Gunner. I wouldn't say he would be spoiled, (he's already spoiled), but his college and high school expenses would be paid for. Also a truck for him when he turns 16.
6- I would donate to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This has always been close to the heart since my half brother has CF.
7- Pay for our huge family to go on a vacation together. This has never happen so that would be really nice.
